Twinkl, the highly popular educational publisher, recently published the results of its survey of teachers using AI.
The survey highlights:
๐ 60% of teachers using AI for work purposes
๐ Frequent users (66%) think AI will make a positive contribution to childrenโs education
๐ 76% yet to receive any training or substantial guidance from their school
๐ 58% of educators agree with the Governmentโs vision of AI improving education
Most educators are making use of the technology either weekly (44%) or daily (23%). These frequent users are saving significant amounts of time each week - with 24% claiming to save up to an hour, 64% between 1-5 hours, and 9% over 5 hours.

Understand what systems are using AI
Our advice is be aware of what systems you are using that previously didn't use AI but now do:๐ค Ensure you read release and update notices to check if AI is coming in the next release.

๐ค Be as transparent as you can by letting parents, staff and pupils know how you are using AI.
